I know, I know... It has been a long time since I have updated my blog and my fans... er... Fan, "HI Aunt Betty!" has been waiting breathlessly for my next cigar review. Well, it is time to get my fat butt off of my comfy recliner and put away the remote. I mean football season is long over but, it has just begun with the NFL Draft this past weekend. YES!!! I love baseball too but, nothing compares to football in my humble opinon. Anyway, now for my latest, long overdue review...
Cigar: Carlos Torano Exodus 1959
Made in Honduras
Size: 6.5” x 54
Filler: Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Costa Rica
Binder: Honduran
Wrapper: Habano
I grabbed this cigar on purpose after reading in the Cigar Aficionado Magazine’s January (07) issue; this particular cigar was ranked as the #5 in the world for 2006. This cigar is commemorates the Exodus of the Cuban cigar families in 1959. It is a beautiful dark box pressed torpedo cigar. It is VERY tasty. This cigar is very consistent all the way down to the end… I love the toasty taste of it. I was in no hurry to lay this cigar down in my ashtray and let it go out. I smoked it right down to the very end that I ended up burning my fingers in trying to get the last enjoyable taste of this cigar. I have to admit after the cigar went out, I kept chomping on it because, it tasted so good.
I highly recommend trying this cigar if you haven’t done so. Go the Tobacco-Barn.com to get yours today.
‘nuff said.
